Brett is an experienced litigator, defending cases in the areas of trucking and transportation, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, civil rights, insurance coverage and bad faith. Brett was born and raised in New Mexico. While attending the University of New Mexico School of Law, he was a member of the New Mexico Law Review. Brett has worked for private defense firms and has served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico. In 2019 his colleagues presented him with the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year Award. When Brett is not skillfully practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children’s music and sporting events with his wife, and rooting for the New York Yankees.
