
Ms. Robeda joined YLAW as a partner in 2020 after practicing with a national firm specializing in Employment and Labor Law where she focused her practice on defending private entities in federal and state court. Over her twenty years of practice, Ms. Robeda has successfully advised and defended national corporations against wage and hour class actions and discrimination class actions brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has also gained significant litigation and trial experience in the defense of employers against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related claims. Since joining YLAW, Ms. Robeda has expanded her practice to include the defense of public entities including trying whistleblower cases. Currently, Ms. Robeda represents public and private employers in all manner of labor and employment law disputes, including investigations, arbitrations, administrative hearings before federal and state Department of Labor tribunals, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Mexico Human Rights Commission, state and federal audits, and litigation, trial, and appellate work in both federal and state courts.
In addition to handling all aspects of employment defense litigation, including at the administrative, trial, and appellate levels, Ms. Robeda provides advice and counsel on employment matters to numerous clients, including providing advice on pre-litigation matters such as discipline, discharge, employee medical issues, and employee leave requests. She also provides targeted training for clients on anti-discrimination and harassment and works with clients in drafting and updating personnel policies and employment contracts. All of these skills and expertise have been showcased at various seminars in which she has been invited to speak.
Ms. Robeda is admitted to practice before all New Mexico state and federal courts, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
