Mr. Yenson received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Political Science from the University of Louisville in 1983, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1986.  During law school, Mr. Yenson was a member of the Mock Trial Team and staff member of the Journal of Family Law.  He received the American Jurisprudence Award of Excellence in the study of criminal law and the Banks-Baldwin Clinical Programs Award for his trial participation with the Jefferson County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.

Mr. Yenson is admitted to practice law before all state and federal courts in New Mexico as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Yenson’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of medical and dental malpractice, nursing home and long-term care, residential treatment care, personal injury, premises liability and insurance law.  He is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute.  Mr. Yenson has tried in excess of 200 bench trials and 30 jury trials.  Mr. Yenson has lectured at continuing legal education and risk management seminars on the handling of dental malpractice and nursing home cases in New Mexico.

Mr. Yenson is an associate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rated AV.
